On Friday February 4th, all Tyler County Schools are closed for both students and staff. Students will need to complete snow day packet #5. Please email your teachers if you have any questions and have a nice weekend.

1. The WVU Impact Challenge will be held March 3rd and 4th, and is open to any interested student.  They will have classes and discussion in Agribusiness/Agritourism or Fashion Design.  If you are interested in attending, please see your counselor for the registration link.  One free college credit hour will be awarded for attending this event.  The goal is to increase West Virginia opportunities in these areas.                                                  ​

All Tyler County Schools will be releasing students 2 hrs early today. TCHS students will be dismissed at 1:30pm. All after school events are cancelled for tonight, February 3rd.

Attention Indian Creek and Elk Fork parents: Bus 57 and 46 Indian Creek buses and Bus 61 the Elk Fork bus will not be running today February 3rd, due to probable flooding in those areas. Students will not be counted absent that live on these routes.

The deadline for the April 2nd ACT is February 25th. Please see your counselor for a fee waiver and go to ACT.org to register.

Tyler Consolidated High School Winter Formal is still on! The Court should report to the band room at 6:10. Crowning is at 7pm in the auditorium. Dance will follow. Tickets can be purchased a the door.

Students this is a reminder that Hunter's Safety Course permission slips for the course on January 26th are due now by Monday morning. They can be turned into Mr. Morris or Officer Satterfield in the main office.  The Hunter Safety Course will be held the morning of Monday, January 26 and will be completed the afternoon of Tuesday, January 27.

The TCHS students are encouraged to participate in the Doodle for Google contest.

Attention Students: The Winter Formal dance will take place January 29th from 7pm-10pm here at TCHS. If you are planning on bringing an out of school date you need to sign them up in the office with Mrs. Kester and get a permission form that needs signed and returned by no later than Monday morning. No out of school dates will be permitted without doing so.

Students in Mrs. Cunningham’s Broadcasting Program recently entered into the No School Spirits PSA contest. This was a statewide competition encouraging students to make smart decisions and not drink and drive. There were 47 videos submitted, and our students placed 5th!
