Today the Lady Knights Volleyball team took on some of our TCHS teachers in a game as a break during exams! The Lady Knights came away with the win! Thank you to all who played! #KnightsPride
Mr. Jennings and some members of the TCHS band have taken time the past two weeks to play some holiday music for students as they arrive to school and during lunch! It has been very much enjoyed! #KnightsPride
On Tuesday, we had an amazing day with our students at West Virginia University! We kicked off the morning with a tour of the Physics Department, exploring both a Quantum Optics lab and a Plasma Physics lab. Students learned about the fascinating world of single-photon interactions and plasma ionization in the Sun’s atmosphere. We also visited the West Virginia and Regional History Center, where we explored rare books and even uncovered some old family records from Tyler County! After a fun planetarium show, students got creative, painting with natural pigments and using sound waves to splash water onto their canvases. The day wrapped up with exciting presentations on cave mapping and GIS technology at the WV State GIS office. What a memorable field trip! #WVU #STEM #KnightsPride

The TCHS Band traveled to the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown last evening to see the Pride of West Virginia's annual Keynotes Concert. Also pictured are TCHS alumni, Shawn Jones and Shauna Riggs. #KnightsPride
Over the last two days Mrs. Jones sophomore health classes were trained to be certified in CPR for infant, child, and adults. Along with that they also learned Stop the Bleed training techniques and how to apply tourniquets properly. Thank you to the Tyler-Wetzel Health department for coming out and training our students! Their certification is good for two years. Congratulations to three TCHS Band members for making the 2025 West Virginia All-State Band: Will Wirth (4th chair chair bass clarinet), Ava Gorrell (2nd chair bassoon), Morgan Fisher (1st chair bass clarinet). These students will join over 100 other outstanding musicians to form the W.V. All-State Band March 6-8 at the West Virginia Music Educator's Association state conference in Charleston. Way to go! We're very proud of you and your outstanding accomplishment. #KnightsPride
A huge thank you to our friends at the Saint Marys Correctional Facility for supporting the students at TCHS/TCMS with a remodel of our student clothing closet. We now have hand crafted storage and furniture to house clothes, hygiene products, school supplies, and many other materials for our students and their needs. We are grateful for their support and the outstanding craftsmanship to make this an incredible space for our students. Thank you all! #KnightsPride

The HS boys basketball away game vs St. Marys has been moved to Dec 12th
The HS boys basketball game at Marietta Tournament has been adjusted to start at 7:00 pm on Dec 27th.
Members of the TCHS Band entertained community members by playing carols at the gazebo in Middlebourne following the Christmas parade Saturday. Several also performed for a Christmas program at Middlebourne United Methodist Church Sunday evening. Incredible talent! #KnightsPride
TCHS Class of 2026 is having a Sarris Candy fundraiser for the holiday season. Everything is online and all you need to do is use the QR code to make your purchases, enter the organization's name, and enter the group ID. The name and ID are located on the flyer. Today at TCHS we hosted our annual Career Fair! We had over 30 different representatives from different employers and industries to come speak to our students about their respective fields and the opportunities within them. From NASA test pilots, architects, and medical providers, we had it covered! We are very grateful to all our presenters who came out to support the student body at TCHS! This was a great opportunity for our students to learn things that will absolutely make them future ready! Thank you all! #KnightsPride
