A great accomplishment! College for West Virginia (CFWV) coordinates three annual college-planning milestones to help students in West Virginia plan their pathway to education or training beyond high school. High schools that successfully participate in all three pathway events and meet specific criteria are recognized as CFWV Champions of College Access and Success schools. The three milestones have specific components to help students in West Virginia transition to postsecondary pathways. TCHS was one of just 40 high schools in West Virginia to be recognized! We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for their hard work to make this possible! #KnightsPride

Attention parents, below are a few reminders from your school health nurses regarding the 24-25 school year: -All 12th grade students must receive their Meningitis vaccination and provide proof of Tdap by the first day of school, August 21st. You must send in verification of these vaccinations to the school nurse by or on the first day of school or your student will be excluded from school until records are received. -All students with emergency medications must send in physician's orders and emergency medications by or on the first day of school or your student will be excluded from school until necessary items are received. If you have any questions, please contact your school nurse!

TCHS is represented in the WVU Marching Band this year by three alumni: Shawn Jones, Shauna Riggs and Aiden Swan. Knights Band director, Matt Jennings traveled to Morgantown Friday evening to watch these three rehearse with the Mountaineer Marching Band, as they conclude band camp at WVU. #KnightsPride

Reminder! Attention incoming 9th grade students! There will be an orientation for incoming 9th grade students and parents/guardians on August 15th at 6:00pm in the auditorium. Important information will be presented and discussed to best prepare everyone for their first year of high school! #KnightsPride

Attention: If you are attending the Class of 2025 meeting this evening. Please park in the front lower lots and enter up the middle school stairs to the auditorium. The back parking lot is currently closed for construction. Those needing elevator access may park in the front circle and enter through the main entrance. Lady Knights Soccer had its first team social! We enjoyed time together off the practice field, made some hammocks/blankets for the local animal shelters and ate lots of ice cream! We look forward to our scrimmages next week and the official start of our season at the home opener against Robert C Byrd on Aug 21st @630pm
