SAT school day
The TCHS Astronomy Club and other young astronomers travelled to Upper Sandusky, Ohio to witness the total solar eclipse on April the 8th. I think it's safe to say the 4 hour bus ride was well worth the spectacle we were treated to! #keeplookingup #knightspride

Jackson Smith gives some eclipses glasses to a fellow student in need as other astronomers gaze into the Sun's glare!
Solar eclipses turn a household colander into an array of pinhole cameras to view the eclipse.
Roughly 30 minutes after the eclipse began.
Just a few moments before totality
The Sun isn't setting! The moon has nearly covered the entire solar disc at this point.
Moon covering the Sun during totality. Bailey's Bead visible along bottom edge. The sun's corona is visible around the edge of the Moon.
Reminder: SAT School Day is this Wednesday, April 17th. There is no school for grades 9, 10, or 12 that day. All 11th grade students need to bring their laptop and charger to school tomorrow to turn in for testing. If you have any questions, please call the school. Thank you!

Today at TCHS, senior students participated in "Mad City Money." During the event students get hands-on experience with money management skills and a taste of the real world by selecting housing, transportation, food, clothing, child care, debt/savings management, and unexpected expenses. Thank you to the West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union and our staff members that volunteered! #KnightsPride
