Students this is a reminder that Hunter's Safety Course permission slips for the course on January 26th are due now by Monday morning. They can be turned into Mr. Morris or Officer Satterfield in the main office. The Hunter Safety Course will be held the morning of Monday, January 26 and will be completed the afternoon of Tuesday, January 27.
The TCHS students are encouraged to participate in the Doodle for Google contest.
Attention Students: The Winter Formal dance will take place January 29th from 7pm-10pm here at TCHS. If you are planning on bringing an out of school date you need to sign them up in the office with Mrs. Kester and get a permission form that needs signed and returned by no later than Monday morning. No out of school dates will be permitted without doing so.
Students in Mrs. Cunningham’s Broadcasting Program recently entered into the No School Spirits PSA contest. This was a statewide competition encouraging students to make smart decisions and not drink and drive.
There were 47 videos submitted, and our students placed 5th!

All Tyler County Schools are now closed for Thursday, January 20th, 2022. All staff will report on a 3 hour delay.

Congratulations to junior football player Jayden Helmick. Jayden was awarded the Mid-Ohio Valley 2-Go special teams player of the year! This award was selected from over 90 schools in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Way to go Jayden!

Attention Juniors! Are you planning to go to college? Does your family make less than $55,000 dollars per year, and have you overcome some type of adversity? If so, you are eligible to apply for the Horatio Alger Scholarship. Awards range from 10 to 25 thousand dollars.

This video was scripted, produced, and edited by our students. It was submitted to the West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration in response to their annual No School Spirits PSA Contest. Boreman students in grades 1-5 recently participated in our school level Scripps National Spelling Bee. Congratulations to all of the students who placed. The 1st place winners in 4th and 5th grade will move on to the Regional Bee in March. Congratulations and good luck to Lilly Moore and Emily Gist! Way to go!
The Coachmen’s will be putting on a Powder Buff Volleyball Game. All boys’ grades 9-12 are eligible to play. Sign-ups will start today (12/13) and be open until the start of 9th Period Tuesday December 14th . Teams will be by grade level. To sign up Freshman Mrs. Grimes, Sophomores Mr. Zwick, Juniors Mr. Roberts, Seniors Mr. Schupbach. Each grade level may have 3 female coaches. The games will be played December 16th and 17th during 9th period. There will be a short meeting on December 13th to discuss details with all players and coaches.
