Congratulations to these Silver Knight Wrestlers on a great showing at the LKC Tournament! Branson Winfrey won the LKC Championship upsetting the #2 and #1 ranked wrestlers in his weight class. Colsen Spragg, Kellan Dalrymple and Gideon Winfrey all finished as runner-ups in the tournament! #KnightsPride

Winter Formal tickets will be sold next week (2/11-2/14) during lunch only. MOVTI students will have an opportunity to purchase tickets during breakfast (AM MOVTI) or lunch (PM MOVTI). Tickets are $10 each. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Be sure to support FBLA students, as they will be selling their products at some upcoming athletic events (2/10, 2/11, 2/21). They plan to sell flavored iced coffee, hot coffee, hot chocolate, and lemonade. They will also be making t-shirts with in-stock transfers and taking orders for personalized items. Extra 2023-2024 yearbooks will also be sold at these events, but they can also be purchased anytime. If interested, contact Mrs. Yost. #KnightsPride

Abraham Maslow was a psychologists who created a theory that explains human development and motivation. He said, if your basic needs aren't met you will have trouble achieving other needs to be the best that you can possibly be. Last semester the freshman health classes made their own hierarchy of needs. They chose the top 5 things they need to be the best version of themselves. What are your top 5 needs? #KnightsPride

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s): On March 5, 2018, the West Virginia Legislature passed House Bill 4402 which requires that children in grades K-12 receive age-appropriate body safety education. The goal of body safety education is to educate and empower West Virginia public school children. In accordance with W. Va. Code §18-2-41, your child will be provided body safety education. It is recognized that the basic responsibility for the teaching of body safety education belongs in the home with the support of the school and other community agencies to strengthen the efforts of the parent(s)/guardian(s). The Child Advocacy Center and the WV State Police will be providing a presentation on February 6, 2025. You are encouraged to continue to be involved in the discussions which promote body safety education.

Ms. Fox, Mrs. Lydick, Mrs. Jones, and Mrs. Stackpole took students to visit Broken Timber Outdoor Education Center today. Students were able to make different types of spinners, learn about fur identification, learn about the process of honey bees, and create a starter pack to grow their own mushrooms. We had a great day together! #KnightsPride

Four Silver Knight wrestlers claim titles at the Single A Challenge! Gideon Winfrey was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament! Your Knights finished 5th overall in team standings with nine total place winners! During the same day our Lady Knight wrestlers had a strong showing as well with a a third place team finish, multiple place winners, and Eliana Winfrey capturing a first place finish! #KnightsPride
