Baseball falls to 9-2 on the season with a loss at home to Williamstown. They will travel to St. Marys on Wednesday.

The Boys and Girls Track Teams competed in the Antero Resources TCHS Knights Invite on Friday night. The boys finish 5th overall with 33 points. They were led by Jaden Holmes with a win in the discus and a 2nd place in the shot put and Sage Landis finish 3rd in the 400m Dash. The girls finished 8th overall with 19 points. The were led by Jocelyn Foltz with a 3rd place in the 100m dash and a 2nd place in the Long Jump. The teams are in action again tomorrow night at home, come out watch.
The baseball team improved to 9 wins and 1 loss on the season with a doubleheader sweep over Marietta. Jayden Helmick pitched a shutout in a game one for a 6-0 win. Mason Nichols had a solo homerun to the get scoring started. Hayden Brown got the win on the mound in game 2 in a 9-4 win. Billings, Helmick, Walton, Henderson, Gorby, Nichols, Brown, and Westbrook all contributed for the offense who had 20 hits on the day. Garon Broughman scored 3 runs on the day. Tonight they host Williamstown at 5 o clock.
A good night for great music! The St. Mary’s Community Concert Band performed last night at the Tyler Consolidated Auditorium. Many of our very own talented students and faculty members performed last night while under the direction of our current and past band directors! An excellent event! #KnightsPride
The St. Marys Community Band will perform a concert tomorrow evening at 7:00 in the Tyler Consolidated auditorium. The 70+ member band includes several Knights Band members and several Tyler County residents. The TCHS Brass Choir will be playing at intermission.
The baseball team completed the season sweep of Magnolia with a 12-0 win improving their record to 7 wins and 1 loss on the season. Owen Westbrook pitched a complete game 1 hit shutout with 12 strikeouts and zero walks. Freshman Gabe Jackson hit his second double in a row for the offense. Chaplin, Billings, Helmick, Brown, Gorby, and Mason Nichols all had runs batted in. Marietta travels here Saturday for a noon doubleheader.
The baseball team had a 16-0 road win at Magnolia last night. They will host Magnolia tonight. Hayden Brown and Carson Gorby combined for the shutout on the mound. Zade Billings led the offense with a double and single and drove in multiple runs. Freshman Gabe Jackson had his first career hit with a double.
The West Virginia Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is the first YLF for youth with disabilities in our state and we want you to be a part of it!!!
The YLF is for high school juniors & seniors and college freshmen with ALL types of disabilities including physical, cognitive, learning, psychiatric, sensory, emotional/behavioral, etc. This innovative and exciting program, limited to 25 young adults with disabilities, will include:
• Four virtual fun filled but educational days of leadership and advocacy skills training
• Opportunities to meet and interact with West Virginia leaders with and without disabilities
• Chance to make new friends
• Opportunity to learn your rights as a person with a disability and what those rights mean

Congratulations to the Tyler FFA members who will be earning their WV State FFA Degree this summer at the WV State FFA Convention: Garrett Ammons, Ardynn Weekley, Victoria Yost, Shauna Riggs, and Clinton Conrad. Also Garrett Ammons was named the WV FFA Star State Farmer out of all the State Degree recipients who had entrepreneurship SAEs. In addition, Garrett also earned 1st place in the Diversified Crop Proficiency Award Area for his SAE "Gomer's Grub. Emma Paden's American FFA Degree also passed the state level evaluation system and will be judged at the National Level this summer. Congratulations again to all these members for their years of hard work!

The Peoples Bank Academic Awards Banquet for grades 5-8 will be held on Tuesday, April 5th at Tyler Consolidated; grades 9-12 will be honored on Thursday, April 7th.
