Mr. Wittmer organized the blood drive for students and staff to donate. We had 20 successful donations throughout the course of the day. It was many of the students first time to donate and we are proud of them for overcoming their fear! A special thank you to Galaxy Food Center in Middlebourne for donating sandwiches for our donors.
1 donation can save up to 3 lives.
You have approximately 10 pints of blood in your body.
Every 2 seconds someone needs blood or platelets.
Two great achievements this week! A "What Does Community Mean to You" art submission from Trinity Kanz of Tyler Consolidated High School was selected as part of the CFOV’s 50th anniversary. Trinity's art teacher at TCHS is Mrs. Stephens. Also, The TCHS girls soccer team was awarded the Pete Whittaker Sportsmanship award for this season! Congratulations to all!! #KnightsPride
It is the season to be thankful here at TCHS! A big thank you to the MetaNu team for sponsoring the “TCHS Thankfulness Tree”. Students wrote what they were thankful for on a leaf and placed it on the tree to be randomly drawn for a prize. Each winner received a $25 Amazon gift card on behalf of MetaNu. In return our student body chose to donate another $150 to a fellow student with medical needs. We are thankful for the generosity of the MetaNu Team and our entire student body! #GiveThanks #KnightsPride (Our student winners are pictured below)
