The Evirothon is a competition between teams across the state about natural resource knowledge and problem solving. It also provides education about the environment and conservation. The five topics focused on are aquatics, forestry, soils, wildlife, and a current topic. Winners are awarded with up to 5,000 dollars in scholarship money.
The West Virginia Envirothon competition will be April 21-22 in Cacapon State Park in Morgan county
